The fee is 3 400 SEK excl. VAT and valid until April 30.

The fee is 2 400 SEK excl. VAT and valid until April 30.
PhD students are welcome to attend the pre-conference Method labs on June 10. You sign up for the pre-conference when you register for the conference. Please note that there are limited number of seats for the pre-conference.
Abstract authors
Authors need to be registered by May 15.
The registration fee includes access to the conference, lunch & coffee/tea according to the conference programme, Mingle at the conference venue, Aula Magna (11 June) and Reception at the Stockholm City Hall (12 June).
All prices below are stated excluding VAT (taxes). 25% VAT will be added before payment.

Swedish participants
Swedish participants can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice.
Invoice to Swedish organizations will be sent as an electronic invoice (e-faktura) if possible.
Participants from outside Sweden
All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona).

Invoice
When choosing ‘International bank transfer’ in the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc). The invoice is created manually, and will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, a few days after registration. The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.
Information about payment with credit card
We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard. For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode.
According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees.
This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.
Exception: No VAT will be added to Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations (e.g., universities, governmental agencies). In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.
Cancellation of Registration
Notification of cancellation should be made in writing to the conference secretariat at nordic-sts2025@akademikonferens.se.
Cancellation of registration will be accepted until 30 April 2025, up to which date the total amount will be refunded except for a cancellation fee of 750 SEK. If you cancel a still unpaid registration, you will be charged a cancellation fee of SEK 750.
We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after 30 April 2025, nor for no-shows for any reasons.
Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send someone in your place at no extra cost. If this should be the case, please contact the conference administration office, Academic Conferences at nordic-sts2025@akademikonferens.se.
